Eugene, FL – The Dixie County Sheriff’s Office arrested Gregory Davis on an active Failure to Appear warrant tied to original charges of Burglary of a Dwelling and Grand Theft.
On May 23, 2026, deputies responded to the area of SE 89th Avenue after confirming the warrant through dispatch in an effort to locate Davis. Upon arrival, deputies located Davis near the residence and took him into custody without incident.
The arrest was carried out with assistance from the Cross City Police Department. Davis was then transported to the Dixie County Jail for processing and booking on the active warrant.
The Dixie County Sheriff’s Office noted the continued cooperation between local law enforcement agencies in supporting public safety efforts within the community.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
