A local resident has been arrested after breaking into a Springfield business

Eugene, OR – According to the police report, this unfortunate incident occurred approximately at 2:00 a.m. Monday. Springfield Police Department officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm at The Bow Rack Archery Shop on Q Street.

When the officers arrived at the scene, the glass front entrance was broken out enough that someone could enter the building through it.

Springfield Police Department officers found Kevin Michael Nieto, 34-year-old, of Eugene, hiding in an office space and was taken into custody. No one else was located inside the building.

The 34-year-old Kevin Michael Nieto faces burglary and criminal mischief charges. He was out on supervised release for a separate burglary charge at the time of the arrest.
